Stevenage Circuits - Taking Technology Further

ESi 5200 & 5330 Laser Drill Machines

Stevenage Circuits acquired its first laser drill machine in 2000. The ESi 5200 laser uVia drill paved the way into the HDI technology market that Stevenage Circuits specialises in today. The experience gained in high quality microvia (blind / buried) drilling has increased exponentially over the years, and the further acquisition of the ESi 5330 laser uVia drill in 2004 is testament to the commitment to enhancing technical and production capability to meet current and future customer requirements.

Stevenage Circuits' Laser Drill Department has significant capacity and versatility, due in no small part to these ESi systems. For example, the department is capable of laser cutting over 100 metres of flexible circuit material per hour, over 30,000 tight tolerance blind via holes in standard FR4 material, and even 80,000 buried via holes through 0.1mm reinforced Polyimide material!
