As Stevenage Circuits say goodbye to their long serving Quality Manager Paul Soderquist to his well earned retirement we are pleased to announce the arrival of Karen Mitchell as the new Quality Manager at Stevenage Circuits.

Karen has worked within Quality and compliance roles for the last 25 years. Originally a graduate in Applied Biology Karen has undertaken an M.Sc. in Strategic Quality Management and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Karen has worked within a number of different industries to varying standards and specifications including several high-profile pharmaceutical manufacturers including GSK and Pfizer working to Good Manufacturing practice and being involved in implementing new systems and tools such as root cause analysis and 5S. More recently she has held quality roles for a research organisation working to ISO17025 and implemented and obtained certification to ISO9001 at LGC Genomics in Hoddesdon.

Karen’s main role at Stevenage Circuits is to add robustness to the current AS9100/ISO9001 and 14001 integrated management system using past experience gained and Lean Six Sigma tools.

We all wish Karen success in her new role.
